Escape for the Day

A day in the countryside near Pune. No bags to pack, no night to plan, only a good day out of the city.

A day visit at Sujalam Sufalam is a one-day trip from Pune to a farm near Rajgad Fort, about 60 km from the city. It’s for people who want the hills, the river and a proper home-cooked meal, and still want to sleep in their own bed tonight.

Bring the family, round up your friends, or plan a day out with your team. There’s no minimum group size, so come as two or bring the whole crowd. The kids get open space and a play area. Everyone else gets games, shade and a long, unhurried lunch.

The food is part of the day: a farm breakfast to start, a Maharashtrian lunch, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and tea with snacks before the drive back. In between, walk down to the river, find the photo points, or do nothing at all.
